Beatnik are the UK's hottest production and writing duo, Dj Nikki & Statis. Hailing from London Beatnik draw inspiration from a wealth of musical styles and genres. Beatnik's music is always focussed on the dancefloor with the intention of getting everyone dancing. Their electronic sound combines elements of House, Hip Hop, Electro & Drum & Bass whilst still retaining all of the songwriting passion, intensity and hooks from Funk, soul and Rock & Roll. Their music is being hailed as the dance music of the future. Beatnik work with a large array of artists, from the established to the up and coming, found mostly during their extensive worldwide DJing schedule. They have produced for rappers, singers and bands and are now focussing their talents on developing their own album featuring a hand picked selection of artists. This project will finally bring their artistic vision and musical style to the forefront spanning their influences from music, art and fashion. DJ Nikki Dj Nikki is an internationally renowned Dj who has toured the world continually playing the biggest clubs and toured with some of the worlds biggest artists. She is known for fusing the worlds of fashion and music. Statis Statis has produced music for years ranging from tv and film to fashion shows and corporate events and Statis a dj who has played in some of the best clubs across Europe. His is also a creative consultant working on projects ranging from tv, film and advertising across to music videos, fashion and art.
